Building Maintenance Mechanic 1 and 2

The basic functions of this position are to operate, maintain, repair or replace mechanical equipment of the physical plant(including heating, cooling and ventilating systems), security systems, fire and life safety systems. Perform groundskeepingand provide general building maintenance at assigned County facilities; to order and maintain supplies used in buildingmaintenance; to periodically respond to 24/7 emergency call-back schedule, as assigned; and to perform related duties asassigned. (This Maintenance Mechanic 1 class is the entry or apprentice level in a career development series.)
