Director of Building Operations

The Director of Building Operations will plan and direct energy management, physical security and support services for multiple facilities with nearly 3 million square feet of space; implement the county’s climate action plan with year over year energy consumption reductions and improved building resiliency; implement policies and procedures related to physical security including those for video surveillance and card access systems and data management; oversee use and maintain the Enterprise Asset Management system (EAM), Service Request system (SRS), Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), tenant manuals, service manuals, safety initiatives, and workplace emergency plans collaborating with Information Services and other departments. This role also has responsibility to develop and manage operating and capital plans for buildings specifically related to building efficiency and energy initiatives.
